"Love Me Again" is a hitting song by English singer John Newman. The song was released as a digital download in Europe on 17 May 2013, except for the Great britain where information technology was released on 30 June 2013 every bit the lead single from his debut studio anthology, Tribute (2013). The vocal was written by Newman and Steve Booker and produced by Booker and Mike Spencer. The song was afterwards featured on the soundtrack for video game FIFA 14.
It was nominated for the Brit Honour for British Single of the Year at the 2022 BRIT Awards[1] and nominated for the 2022 Ivor Novello Honour for Best Song Musically and Lyrically.

In an interview with Digital Spy, Newman was asked if he sensed that the vocal had something special about it in the studio. He said, "Yeah. The guy I wrote it with (Steve Booker), nosotros turned around and had massive grins on our faces thinking, 'There's something proficient here'. Only y'all simply never know how skillful it is, you know?".
Newman was too asked if it was hard to write the lyrics most love and break-up, he said, "No, information technology's the only identify where I really open up to somebody, through my music. I'm producing [the album] and writing information technology, information technology'due south good. I like to keep a hold of everything".[2]
With the chord progression of Gm—Bb—Dm—C, the song is written in the key of G Dorian. The fundamental signature is in D minor. Both are modes of F major, of which either 1 can exist used as the tonic note/chord, considering, all the same, the F major chord is not present in the song.[three]
Music video [edit]
Two music videos, both with elements of Northern soul dancing, take been released for "Love Me Again". One version[4] directed by Vaughan Arnell is based on the classic love story of Romeo and Juliet.[five] The woman in the video, Juliet, is French actress Margaux Billard, carefully watched over past her brother, Tybalt, played by Joseph Steyne. The Romeo, is British model Tommy-Lee Winkworth. This video ends in a bewilderment as they get run over by a truck and their fate remains unknown till Newman's follow-up single "Adulterous", which starts with a newspaper commodity indicating that they had indeed survived the crash, which was a striking-and-run blow.
Another version features Newman, backed by musicians, singing in a dimly lit room.[vi]

In popular culture [edit]
"Honey Me Again" was featured on the soundtrack of video game FIFA 14,[8] giving it a cult condition among FIFA fans, equally well as the Federation'due south #WorldCupAtHome series, which opened FIFA's archive during the COVID-xix pandemic. It also appeared in the closing credits of the 2022 scientific discipline fiction film, Border of Tomorrow, starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. The song was also featured on the American TV series, Suits in the episode, "Cached Secrets", which aired on 6 March 2014, and in the opening scenes of the outset episode of flavor four, "Ane-Two-3 Go", which aired 11 June 2014. "Love Me Over again" is likewise a playable song in But Dance 2015. The song was also used as the theme to the television receiver evidence Whiskey Cavalier which debuted in February 2022 and ended in May subsequently one season.[nine] In August 2022 and May 2022 it was used in TV and radio adverts for National Runway.
The French channel TF6 likewise used this song to shutdown its channel.
